The comics press, it is currently in the mode of a Tea Party rally. It consists largely of people who will in no way benefit, but feel the need to side with billionaires and companies so massive they share little to no similarities to the people they can be legally treated as.

I will never understand fan community and its elevation of the character over the creator, as if these stories have no authors behind them. It’s the response of a child who only cares about his or her own gratification.
Sometimes, I want to be Edward Norton at the end of Fight Club, figuratively toppling all of these corporate intellectual properties so that all the fan entitlement is erased and we all start again for the beginning.
But then I realize it’s fucking comic books and gain back what none of these people I speak of have: perspective.
